How many inches is it vertically?
The item will stretch up to 13 inches in depth.
Does it keep things from getting out?
This is a six-sided cover with a zipper that locks so once you put your mattress in and close it nothing really can get in or out!
Is the cover waterproof on the top, bottom, and all sides or just on the top?
It is 6 sided waterproof so the same fabric is used on top, sides and bottom.
Is this considered noiseless or is it the crinkly plastic kind?
The fabric is made of a polyester Knit, with a very thin lining that makes it waterproof but it is not like a vinyl or plastic cover that makes noise so that should be no issue. Under the sheet you should not feel it at all.
Can just the top zip off for washing or do you have to remove the whole cover?
The zipper runs a long three sides so it will come off fairly easily but not just the top. Generally speaking, to reduce allergens etc. The entire cover really should be washed in hot water.
