Can this filter reduce TDS?

Please note that pur filter cannot reduce TDS.

Our filter cannot obviously lower the TDS value because it uses natural coconut shell activated carbon that can filter harmful substances while keeping beneficial minerals such as potassium,calcium, ect.

Can the filter be used for well water?

No.

Our filter is designed for Municipal Tap Cold Water. If using well water, please make sure the feed water has been through a pre-filtration system, otherwise, large particles in well water will clog the filter easily and shorten filter life.

Do I need to flush the filter after installation?

The new filter should be flushed with cold water for at least 10 seconds before use.The filter is made from coconut shell activated carbon block, harmless charcoal residuals and fines can be found in the new filter.The flush process will remove them.

Do I need to replace the filter every two months?

Yes, you must replace the filter every two months or sooner.Filter’s 40-gallon life depends entirely on your local water quality and frequency of use.Failing to replace the filter will cause a reduced water flow or sediment/rust present in the water.
